This 1993 Mercedes 220TE was imported from Japan in 2023. It has covered only 75, 000 Kilometers and being a Japanese import, it has high specification that includes air conditioning, cruise control, electric seats, sunroof and 7 seats. The particular 124 estate is exceptional and probably one of the best available. It also has the benefit of being a pre-facelift car but with the later more refined and efficient 2. 2 litre engine.
The W124 was built to last and this car is perfect for a collector looking for the best or someone that wants a very practical classic that continues to appreciate in value. The exterior paintwork is exceptionally good and the Nautic Blue metallic has a deep reflection all round. All trim and glass is original and unmarked and the 8 hole alloy wheels are in excellent condition. The navy interior upholstery and carpets are unmarked and the drivers seat has no wear on the side bolsters. The electric windows, sunroof and all other accessories work exactly as they should. A recent mechanical service was completed in January 2024, the car is taxed and a will be sold with a new NCT.
