SUPERB 1959 FORD PICK UP F100 STYLESIDE CUSTOM CAB - V8 C CODE - Carte Grise Française Description: This magnificent 1959 Ford Pick Up F100 is in very good condition with only 25, 000 miles on the clock. Entirely original, it has benefited from a former restoration which is still in excellent condition. The truck is fitted with its original Y Block V8 292 cu / 4. 8L - 200hp engine (the same as the Ford Thunderbird of the same period) and a manual gearbox. History: I have owned this vehicle for 7 years and am only selling it because I own two of them. I bought it directly from the family of the first owner, who assured me that the truck had been driven very little and that the mileage of 25, 000 miles is original, and its stable ride and very little wear in specific places seems to confirm this. The truck passed the technical inspection last year without any problems for its French registration and has just been registered in France. Being pre-1960, it will no longer need a MOT in the future. Mechanical condition: Engine: Very reliable, starts from a quarter turn, runs perfectly with impressive torque. Pertronix electronic ignition Powermaster Hi-Torque starter. New fuel pump and rebuilt carburettor. Paintwork in excellent condition overall, with a few cracks on the black part of the bonnet due to heat and sun. Original chrome still in very good condition. Lightweight Racing Centerline 3-cut aluminium wheels from the 1960s, very rare and sought-after in the USA.
