A delightful 500 which had one owner in Italy from new until purchased by an English couple who were visiting family in Naples and brought the car to the UK
The car had been restored cosmetically in Italy, the bodywork and underside being in amazing condition
Purchased by Ant for his Born Mechanic show, the works required were to bring the mechanical condition up to that of the cosmetics. The engine was removed, oil leaks repaired, steering box rebuilt, all steering arms and joints replaced
A new vinyl roof in brown was fitted to match the interior, with a couple of special additions to add to its 'wow' factor - twin airhorns, a picnic hamper and some tasteful pinstripes
With lots of history and exuding charm in bucket loads, this charming little Lusso is a delight
