Description
The MGB GT, designed by Pininfarina, was introduced in October 1965 and can claim to be one of the earliest sports hatchbacks to go into volume production. The rear deck offers excellent luggage space with a 2+2 option and improved aerodynamics gives the GT a top speed in excess of 100mph.
Milestones are delighted to offer this very original BGT finished in Snowberry White with steel wheels and black interior.
The car was restored during late 2000 by the highly respected Jentree of Pevensey at a cost approaching £8, 000.
Work included:
· Sills x 2
· Front Floor Pans & Rear Boot Floor
· Front Cross-member
· Front Wings x 2
· Doors x 2
· Rear Arches and Rear (O/ S) Wing
· New Carpet Set
· New Trim Set
· Recon Wheels
· Rear Springs
· The GT had a replacement Gold Seal Engine in 2003 (8, 000 miles ago)
Today the car drives as good as she looks with strong performance and ‘B’ sound track. The huge history folder catalogues maintenance and care lavished on the car since 1977 by the long-term owner.
As our website demonstrates, we do like nice, well sorted MGB’s with providence. This GT really does tick all the boxes and will give the new owner lots of pleasure - be it a trip down to the local pub or more adventurous road trips.
