1963 Massey Ferguson 35X, chassis no. 304740, reg. no. 558 AOO. This delightful classic tractor was purchased new by a Gentleman from Latchingdon, Essex. He owned it for the next 23 years, selling it to the current keeper who only lived in the next village, back in April 1986. Over the subsequent 39 years the tractor lived in the garage at the end of his large garden, where it was used sparingly to perform general garden maintenance works. In early 2011 some restoration work took place, with a bill for £3, 260. 40 for sandblasting and paint (bill included within the history file). The condition of the tractor today is testament to the gentle life and good maintenance is has received over the years, the paintwork is vibrant, and the tyres also appear in very good order. It is offered for sale today by the executors of the current owners estate and represents a great opportunity to get into classic tractor ownership, with a machine that is still ready to do a days work! It is supplied with a current V5, two instruction books, (these contain a detailed annotated maintenance record from 1963 - 1989), service manual and old V5's and invoices.
