Description
BMW 125i M sport 3. 0 Manual - 2008
Service history from new at a mix of main dealers and independents, with the exception of 2019-2021 just prior to my purchase of the car, where records are not available. Car serviced this year with all oil/ filters and fluids changed.
Recent MOT advisories have been addressed, tyres replaced and oil seals replaced, however the corrosion identified is minor - no further works needed.
The car is overall very solid and drives very well - engine pulls cleanly from tick over to redline with a glorious sound.
I have owned the car for 4 years as a summer only vehicle - it is always garaged throughout the year and I have spent winters renewing or servicing the car as a hobby, recent items completed include:
- leather seats stripped and re-coloured/ protected with scotchguard
- rear suspension upgraded
- roof mechanism cables replaced
- rear brake calipers renewed
- rear differential seals replaced
Car was purchased from a specialist performance retailer, I have a history file containing invoices of previously completed works.
The areas where the car has items to bring to buyers attention are:
- car has had a small stitch repair to the hood, approx 2cm
- 2 alloys have some scratches on the outer rim
- some minor stone chips to the bonnet
- paintwork is glossy but would benefit from a mechanical polish
- interior storage bin lids have some scratchesThe car is a pleasure to drive with a brilliant engine and gearbox, it is as happy pulling hard from low revs as it is getting higher in the rev range and the vanos system kicking in - always smooth and with a great noise. The car looks very good in the colour combo of black on black with Boston cream leather and the alloys are alpina style finished in mid silver. A genuine 4 seater convertible that has been a real family favourite, but now it is time to pass the car on to a new keeper to enjoy as much as I have.
