Just arrived at South Norfolk Classics.
1969 MGB GT finished in Mineral Blue with Black Leather overdrive and wire wheels.
A beautifully restored car to show standard and quite possibly the best restored GT that we have ever offered.
This stunning car was supplied new in Mineral Blue and as far as we are aware its first restoration took place in 1994 / 1995 wher it had a full colour change to British Racing Green.
Fast forward 20 years and the car was purchased by the last owner and in excellent condition but just needing some minor cosmetic improvements as well as an engine replacement as the previous owner had fitted a 1950 fast road engine and he wanted to put it back to standard which meant a colour change again back to its original colour of Mineral Blue.
Having owned the car for five years the Covid 19 lockdown seemed like the perfect time to start another restoration with endless free time and nothing else to do!
The finished result can only be described as exceptional with absolutely everything either being refurbished or replaced with original new old stock parts where available.
Originally the car was supplied new with disc wheels with hubcaps but has now been fitted with the appropriate axle and a new set of wire wheels, another few nice modifications include electronic ignition, Revotec electric cooling fan a stainless steel exhaust system and a refurbished Tudor Webasto sliding sunroof which allows virtually open top motoring without having to buy a roadster.
The history file is absolutely immense and the car is totally ready to be enjoyed by its next owner and absolutely wants for nothing.
