In 1998, the Aprilia RSV Mille was introduced as a race replica sports motorcycle manufactured until 2003, when it was replaced by the Aprilia RSV1000R. It was available in RSV Mille, RSV Mille R, and RSV Mille SP versions
In 2003, the limited edition RSV Mille R Edwards Replica arrived with its livery inspired by the Aprilia RS 'Cube' MotoGP motorcycle ridden by Colin Edwards
The Edwards version was supplied with a circuit kit which included an Akrapovic full exhaust system, a more pressurized airbox, Epron injection, 57mm throttle bodies instead of 51mm, multiple carbon body panels, thinner lighter screen, decal set and other special parts
Powered by a 998cc four-stroke liquid-cooled V-twin generating 138bhp at 9, 500rpm and 79lb/ ft of torque at 5, 500rpm
Based on the RSV Mille R, the bike also had OZ lightweight forged wheels, Ohlins suspension, Ohlins steering damper and radial-mounted Brembo brakes
461 'Edwards' Replicas were sold worldwide with, it's believed, only 25 allocated to the UK
This UK-registered from new example is presented in good overall condition
