Lovingly restored to a very high standard
Invoices totalling thousands of pounds
Said to be running and riding well
Active from 1958 to 1983, Bultaco was, along with Montesa, one of the great Spanish manufacturers of highly competitive two-stroke off-road motorcycles. It was founded by Francesc “Paco” Bultó, a disgruntled director of Montesa who had been upset by the company’s decision to abandon its racing programme. Bultó being the head of Montesa racing left to establish his own marque, taking many Montesa employees with him. The Sherpa T trials range was introduced in the 1960s and was pivotal in ending the domination of British bikes in the discipline. During the 1970s, Bultaco was at the top of its game and Sherpas were winning trials left, right and centre. Riders and tuners appreciated Bultacos for their ease of modification, with engine and transmissions being interchangeable among bikes and cylinder barrels being interchangeable across engines.

Described as “very good” in all areas, this charming 1976 Sherpa 350T benefits from a very high-quality older restoration which still presents extremely well. As many original parts as possible were preserved, and the result is a pleasingly correct historic trials machine, ideal for display or active competition. We are advised that the Sherpa runs and rides very well. It is accompanied by a file of invoices for parts and work carried out, together with the current V5C.
