We're delighted to offer this beautiful 2002 Honda VTR1000 SP1 - without doubt one of the cleanest we have ever encountered.
A relatively late UK SP1 (May '02 registered), this impeccable bike is currently showing just over 11, 000 miles with 3 recorded owners from new. In the custody of its most recent owner for over 16 years, it has since been lightly recommissioned by ourselves to ensure it remains ready for another decade of enjoyment, and beyond.
Reflecting the bike's near-mythical build quality, this particular machine is superb to ride, and definitely up there with the best we have ever sampled. It also benefits from a handful of tasteful modifications - including Dunlop-esque painted white number boards, and a beautiful set of handmade s/ s exhausts that sound just sensational. The immaculate originals are bubble wrapped, and will be supplied with the bike.
The HRC-assembled SP1 has long been a sought after machine, and values are once again beginning to climb for the right bikes. Though we're a long way from RC30 money, unabused examples of Honda's WSB thoroughbred are not as common as they once were, making cherished bikes such as this a very appealing proposition indeed.

Cosmetic condition:
Very difficult to fault, reflecting the care and attention this bike has received throughout its life. All of the paintwork, and decals, are in perfect condition, maintaining a factory-like finish throughout. There are no visible marks to any of the frame, or mechanical parts like the engine covers. The rider contact areas are all free from any imperfections, and the seat remains unblemished. All switchgear is beautifully clean, and functions correctly.
Mechanical condition:
Mechanically, the bike appears to be in great health, starting instantly and achieving temperature quickly. That characteristic V-Twin rumble is evident straight away, with the engine feeling extremely tight and up together. On the move, throttle and clutch are a delight. Brakes are responsive, pulling the bike up neatly.
