Description
The Pinin Farina designed Range of BMC mid-sized saloons began in 1958 with the launch of the Wolseley 15/ 60. The majority of you reading this will be aware of how it all played out for the next 14 years. From BMC to BL who decided to ditch what they thought was an outdated, dumpy saloon. Ergo we were treated to the Morris Marina and the Austin Allegro. Mmm. Really?
So, here we have an early and now mega rare example. A 1960 15/ 60 high fin (Cathedral rear light) Wolseley. Much loved and so well known among all enthusiasts of the marque. Shown regularly at high end shows such as London Olympia etc. Fully restored around 23 years ago on a no money spared basis and still as nice today. She has travelled 22k since then (dry weather car) and so just nicely used. Superb condition outside, inside and underneath. Go and find better if this one does not grab you!
