Description
Well, I would say that over the years I must have owned more than 100 of these "Audax" Rootes models. That is to say Hillman Minx, Sunbeam Rapier and Singer Vogue. This actual car could well be the very best of that bunch. A genuine, un-molested, un-welded, never re-painted, low mileage gem. This 1962 Minx Series IIIB has covered just 31, 000 miles from new and, to sit inside this incredible survivor, you could be tricked into thinking that you were sitting inside a nearly new vehicle!
The period light green colour, both inside and out, makes this marvelous Minx jump out at you. It is when you see the sturdy old Minx at its very best like this that you realise what an excellent family saloon the Rootes Group came up with. The Series III is, in my opinion, the best of the range being the only variant to feature those delightful roll over rear fins and that wraparound rear windscreen!
A gem of a Minx needing nothing at all. Stand out from the crowd with this beauty!
