The myth of the Chevrolet Corvette already dates back to 1953 (in the midst of the US auto boom) and one can say that the sporty model offered by the Chevrolet brand goes beyond the decades and that each generation manages to leave its mark, as is still the case now with the recent Corvette C8.
The 4th generation, the C4 (C for Corvette, the number for the generation), was launched in 1984 where it marked many records and also with its return in 1986 to a cabriolet version (but also convertible, that is to say with the roof completely retractable) and ever more powerful engines.
The Corvette C4 represented a clear break with the C3 designed with an entirely new chassis and a more elegant, more modern but still evolutive style.
In 1996, after around 360, 000 Corvette C4s produced (all versions combined), it was replaced by the Corvette C5.
NYC’s/ OXOTO offers for sale a very nice brown model (a colour specific to C4s produced in 1988) with a beige and black interior. Delivered new in June 1989, we are pleasantly surprised to have an excellent record of the life of this Corvette C4 Convertible. It indeed moved to England before arriving in Belgium in 2015 (58, 876 miles) where its owner has greatly cared for it. In July 2024, NYC’s sold this car to an enthusiast who, lacking time to enjoy it, decided to resell it.
The bodywork presents very well, absolutely nothing to say, not the slightest scratch or dent, it is really in perfect condition. Nothing to be expected.
The interior also presents very well, though there is some wear on the steering wheel and on the driver’s seat. Otherwise, it is in order: dashboard, carpets, centre console, etc … and everything also functions correctly.

Regarding the mechanical side, we have a very thorough service and parts history, see on our site all the invoices. We can confirm that it runs very well, having come by road to join our premises.
The last technical inspection was carried out in July 2024 (63, 812 miles on the odometer) and mentions only a minor note about a possible fluid leak, although we have seen nothing on the ground.
We also have a very substantial technical file and the English inspection reports, which clearly demonstrate that this Corvette C4 has always been very well maintained and therefore that its mileage is perfectly tracked.
A ramp is also available on our premises to display the underside of the vehicle.
