A lovely example of a Series 3 88″ which has been subject to a nut and bolt restoration including a galvanised chassis.
Refurbished to ‘bond spec’ the Bond movie ‘No Time to Die’ features a Series 3 like this one
First Registered 21st September 1982 this lovely example is a late Series 3 complete with the later upgrades such as 11 inch front dual line brakes. 5 bearing crank engine.
The vehicle has undergone a thorough and comprehensive restoration, retaining as many original parts as possible.
The rebuild has included Galvanised chassis , engine, gearbox and axles being overhauled. New brakes including wheel cylinders, brake pipes, shoes and drums. A new fuel tank, shock absorbers, new lights all round, new hoses, clips, door seals, mats, clutch, slave cylinder, master cylinder, new wiring loom, new servo, canvas hood, hood stick set and window channels.
A very beneficial extra that has been fitted is a fairey overdrive, which makes it a joy to drive on dual carriageways.
All the galvanising has been stripped and re done during the restoration the attention to detail is amazing.
