The Mk3 Chimaera produced from 2001 to 2003 was the last and much improved version, as compared with the earlier MK1s and 2s. Build quality was better, as were electrics. Cosmetically, improvements were made to interior controls, with more supportive seats fitted from the Cerbera and the front headlights were faired in just like on the TVR Griffith. The rear light clusters were also upgraded . The rarest of all the Chimaeras, they produced less than 100 MK3s, until production ceased in 2003.
