Description
1934 Hillman Aero Minx 'Foursome' Coupe reg. no. JH 8388 (to be applied for) believed one of only three surviving examples left. This rare Art Deco bodied Hillman caused a stir when it was first announced in 1932. With its sporting chassis with lowered and underslung rear, shortened wheelbase and high ratio axle, high compression engine and larger Stromberg carb giving it a top speed of 75 mph . The stylish coupe body with sliding sunroof had seating for four people . This example is partially restored but most of the hard work appears to have been done. It is mounted on a trolley for ease of movement . The registration number is not registered with the DVLA but may be able to be retrieved with the assistance of the Hillman Club historian if build records still survive. A very rare and attractive car worthy of finishing off.
