2014 Aston Martin DB9 Carbon Black Edition
Quite possibly unrepeatable, we are delighted to offer this attractive 1 owner, low mileage, DB9 Carbon Edition, finished in AML Carbon Black over Obsidian Black hides.
First shown in 2003, the DB9 went on to be Aston Martins most successful model, by volume. Having been the mainstay of the Aston Martin range for 9 years, in 2012 the DB9 was given a comprehensive make over, with numerous cosmetic and performance updates, including the revised and more powerful AM11 engine (510 bhp), Brembo Carbon Ceramic brakes, Adaptive Damping, 20” wheels, as standard and improved chassis dynamics, ride quality and handling as a result of changes made to the VH chassis. Nearly 50% of all parts and more than 70% of all body panels are changed from the original DB9. All in all, a highly accomplished and capable GT car.
At the Geneva motorshow, in 2014, Aston Martin announced the limited edition 2015 model year DB9 Carbon Edition. Available in either Carbon Black II or Stratus White coachwork, specifications included Black window surrounds, Carbon fibre side strakes, front splitter, rear diffuser, mirror cars and rear lamp infills, Graphitic finish on the tail pipes, Standard or sports exhaust, Black meshes, Painted or optional carbon door handles, Gloss black diamond turned wheels, black, grey, red or yellow Brake callipers, Obsidian Black hide with Welt in a choice of black, silver, red or yellow with same or black stitching, Carbon Fibre facia and door pulls, Paddle tips in carbon fibre or optional red, yellow or silver leather, Steering wheel in black leather or Alcantara, Piano Black air vents, Black anodised rotary switches, Black tread plate and pedals, Special Carbon sill plaques.
The DB9 Carbon Edition, we now offer, was supplied to its sole (female) owner by Aston Martin Welwyn in September 2014, with servicing continuing with the same organisation. Most recently, our own workshops have completed a fresh service, to manufacturers schedule and pre-sale preparation. The car now presenting in superb condition throughout.
In addition to the standard DB9 Carbon Edition specifications, options chosen on this example include; Aston Martin Premium Audio, Black Brake calipers, Sports Exhaust, Carbon fibre veneer, Black paddleshifts with Silver leather, Reversing Camera, AM Wings headrest embroidery and 20” 10 spoke Satin Black Diamond Turned wheels.
