1994 Kawasaki ZZ-R1100
A particularly attractive example of Kawasaki’s legendary ZZ-R1100, one of the defining high-performance motorcycles of the 1990s.
Launched at the beginning of the decade, the ZZ-R1100 quickly established itself as one of the fastest production motorcycles in the world. Combining enormous straight-line performance with genuine long-distance touring ability, it became one of Kawasaki’s most important flagship machines and today represents a hugely appealing modern classic.
This 1994 D-series example presents extremely well in its striking black, burgundy and grey colour scheme with distinctive period ZZ-R graphics.
The paintwork is in exceptional condition, retaining an excellent deep shine across the tank, fairings and bodywork. The aluminium frame, wheels, brightwork and chrome exhaust are also very tidy for a motorcycle now over 30 years old, while the seat and cockpit appear similarly well preserved.
Powered by Kawasaki’s formidable 1, 052cc liquid-cooled, 16-valve inline-four, the bike starts readily, revs cleanly and runs exactly as it should.
The odometer is showing approximately 36, 549 miles, and the motorcycle has a valid MOT through to March 2027.
