HI, This is my Hillman Imp which i've owned for many years but unfortunately I now need a classic that the family can all travel in. Complete rolling shell with engine parts to complete.
Rust wise the shell is in very good condition, there is a little surface rust in the engine bay and thats about it. The paint work is good for the age but there is micro blistering on the roof and the engine cover has some marks were I left a rubber matt on it for a few months!!
Most parts on the car have been fitted in the last few years but having not been on the road in that time they are pretty much as new.
6x13 Superlites, Barum tyres as new, Sparaco rev seats and harnesses, hydraulic handbrake, front discs, front radiator conversion, electric water pump, split brake lines, adjustable brake bias, Safety Devices roll cage, Racetech gauges, Gas Spax platform adjustables, Montes, rewired, rev limiter etc.
Reg Pattern 998 block new, 180 sport head, r17 cam, sport cam, 28/ 36 webber and manifold, twin stroms, manifold for SU's, janspeed and sport exhaust manifolds and box's, gearbox, sport oil cooler, 2 sets of 1" driveshafts, rebuild gasket sets, 998 head gaskets, reground crankshaft, bearing sets, the only thing missing are the pistons which are easily available. I'm sure theres loads of other bits in the garage which I can't remember right now.
IMPORTANT. I use to run this with an Alfa engine. The only bit that can't be undone is a small fabricated gearbox tunnel. You can't see this even if the rear seats are in the upright position as its under the rear seat base. Theres is a small box on the parcel shelf.
£4500 or £3500 less parts package.
