ROSENGART LR4 SPECIAL
1930
Originally produced as a saloon my Rosengart has been restored from the chassis up.
The recent sports body was built in aluminium, by Brooklands- Bodycraft to a very good standard.
Rosengart- 1930-32 ladder type chassis, Austin seven type engine produced under license.
The car features-
Lowered front axle, Bowdenex brakes.
The engine was built to sports specification by the last owner, and has S. U carb, and Ulster type manifold and custom exhaust.
A new set of Longstone tyres with shot blasted and painted wheels.
New wiring loom and rare Marchal headlamps.
Nice dash with period O. S and Jaeger gauges.
Very much like an Amilcar or Ulster Austin, this is a car that combines the best of both worlds; being roomier and rarer than its Austin Cousin and easier to get parts than something like an Amilcar not to mention cheaper!.
In very well restored condition, this rare car now requires minor fettling to complete.
The Austin seven club or VSCC would support registration of this rare car.
One of the best looking Rosengart specials and only for sale as I have purchased a new project.
Offers Invited.
