1989 F reg Isuzu Piazza Turbo Handling by Lotus Auto. White with check cloth seats. 79k miles, MoT until February 2015, on Sorn. This is the only one advertised for sale on here and may be the only one for sale nationally for sometime because they don't come up often. You're very unlikely to see another one at either a car show or when you're driving around.
Very ahead of it's time. It all works, even the subtle headlight lifters. Unique dashboard switch gear. People will notice you in this car. Very smooth and powerful engine with plenty of mid range punch. Lovely wastegate chatter. Only non standard items are a sports air filter and stainless steel back box. It has all it's original handbooks and every MoT certificate from new. IPTOC which is the owners club for this car have known the vehicle for many years and supplied many parts over it's lifetime. It has had 5 keepers prior to me all of which have been long term.
I have tried to put a number of pictures on, if you need more let me know and I can email them to you. The car has very little rust considering it's age, the only noticeable bit are on the tailgate and a small bit by the fuel flap. The MoT tester commented on how clean it is underneath. I believe it has been waxoyled/ ziebarted from new. 4 good tyres.
This is an extremely rare car, less than 50 registered in the UK I believe. It is likely that this is the only remaining one in this exact spec i. e. white, auto, HBL, smooth tailgate from factory.
I have owned the car since December 2011. It was bought as a running vehicle and I've done less than 400 miles in it since ownership. I traveled to London and back to get it and drove it occasionally for a few months trouble free.
The engine sounds and goes as it should with plenty of low down grunt and old school turbo surge.
I am open to all offers, the car needs to go.
