REDUCED DUE TO TIME WASTER "Skippy"(obvious really) has been my pride and joy for the past 6 years, and was previously owned by a good friend (a professional car valeter) since 1994. She is a 1985 Rapid 120G Coupe Convertible with a 1174cc engine and a 4 speed gearbox and has covered a GENUINE 33, 000 MILES from new. I have MOT's going back to 1994 which shows the then mileage of 31, 100, so has covered a little over 1200 miles in the past 14 years. She is a proper Skoda conversion and was sold as a convertible from new. (many were converted later in their lives). Not shown in the photos is her full brown leather hood which is as new and totally weatherproof. She has always been garaged and everything on her is totally original. I bought her as investment and for occasional summer use. but work commitment has meant that I have barely had the chance to drive her. I shall be moving house shortly, and will no longer have the use of a spare garage to keep her in, and have therefore decided to sell her to someone that can look after her as she deserves, rather than let her stand outside and get spoiled.
"Skippy's" only signs of age are a few small paint blisters on her wheel arches, and tiny microbubbling of her paint on her bonnet. (this is minute and almost undetectable). Other than this she is in remarkable original condition. She starts first time every time, runs and drives perfectly, and has a new MOT. She is normally insured with a classic car specialist for £5000, but as I am moving I have priced her for a quick sale at £2495.
This really is one of the most regrettable sales I have ever made.
