This very rare electric microcar is a collection piece these days and is very ahead of its time! The three-wheeled vehicle has the functions of a normal car, including hydraulic brakes, hand brake, throttle and brake pedal, steering wheel, indicators and front and rear lights. The cock-pit seats one, with the addition of a rear-facing child seat. As it has no doors, access is via the whole top half being lifted on a hinge, which adds to its overall quirky character. The electric 4. 5 kw motor is powered by a 4. 8 kwh lithium iron phosphate battery. With a top speed of 40 km/ h (25mph), it also has a range of 43-56 miles, so definitely enough to take you on trips around town!
This example is not currently running and is in need of full restoration work as can be seen from the photos. But with some attention, it definitely has the potential to be a collector's item which is fit for the future! Being manufactured in Denmark, the tricycle has only had one previous owner since being imported to the UK in 2007. It can be a road legal vehicle and has a valid V5C and registration document with registration plates. It does not currently have an MOT certificate and will need to have one in order to take back out on the road. The last MOT expired in 2010 and has been stored ever since.
