Restored by well known specialists around 12 years ago and sparingly used since, this delightful example of the immortal Frogeye is correctly finished in Cherry Red with red interior trim as original.
It has had just 4 previous owners since new and is presented in excellent order all round, being a matching numbers example to original specification throughout. The engine and carburettors have been overhauled and the gearbox, which is the correct 'smooth case' unit has been rebuilt very recently. The starter motor and dynamo have been renewed and the suspension fitted with polybushes.
The hood and side screens are in very good order in keeping with the rest of the car. Among the documentation is an copy of the original handbook and service bills dating back to 1964 when the car was in the hands of its original lady owner.
Numerous additional bills are included. The car retains its original Somerset registration number.
