Beschreibung
2 stroke boxer shaft drive.
After WWII the German DKW factory (Zachopau) was in East Germany. The factory changed its name to IFA (Industrieverband Fahrzeugbau). First they made a copy of the DKW RT125 but in 1952/ 53 there will be a new model with a particular type of engine. A two-stroke boxer with shaft drive. This concept has never been used before and will never will been used again. This first model was an IFA BK350 with 15HP and exceptional performance. Ideal for sidecar use. In 1956, the factory is transformed into the MZ (Motorradwerke Zachopau) factory. The model gets a few changes and is now called MZ BK350 and now has not 15 but 17HP
The model presented here is a MZ BK350 1956 and is not fully complete.
