This charming example has had only 2 previous owners since life began in 1951 and is arguably the most desirable of the Standard Steel varieties being the Small Boot and 4. 25 engine.
To start and drive this MK VI simply is magnificent as it should be. The engine runs quietly and smoothly, never missing a beat it is clear that this example has always being maintained to a high standard.
To the road the handling benefits from the independent front suspension and the hydraulic brakes make stopping a lot easier than the MkVI predecessors, this lovely MK VI really is a pleasure to drive.
The exterior is finished in Midnight Blue with chrome fixings to break up the colour, the paint and chrome work are in very good condition throughout which must be accredited to the care taken in maintaining this example and the few hands that she has passed through.
