FIAT 500 LUSSO, 1972.
This delightful little 1972 Fiat 500 Lusso has obviously been loved and very well cared for over the years. The bodywork is arrow straight with no rust blemishing or flaking paint issues, and is finished in the original colour of Blue Scuro. The interior, which is exceptional, is upholstered in a deep red leatherette, with black piping to the seats and matching door cards. Along with a new sunroof and frame, the Blue Scuro bodywork is beautifully complemented. Mechanically, the car is very good. The engine starts first time, and pulls strongly. The 4 speed gear box is smooth and precise. The suspension, steering and brake systems are all as they should be, with no known faults, or nasty clonks or rattles. This Lusso also boasts 4 virtually new wheels and tyres. A new stainless steel luggage rack and new chrome sports door mirrors have also been fitted to the car. The car is fully Uk. registered, with new period number plates with stainless steel surrounds. Just turn the key and go! The original Italian log book has also been preserved, and will come with the car, for that valuable authenticity. To sum up, this very nice 500L is a very useable classic car, with lots of personality, and is an appreciating asset, that will be a joy to own.
