Barn find in July 1993 and restored and refurbished in 1998 by the last owner who thought he had bought a BSA Blue Star which was the first bike he ever owned back in the mid forties. However , as the research went on, he discovered it was the model known as L31/ 6 which is rarer than the Blue Star.
Finished in the best optional colour of Cornflour Blue. Restored from a dilapidated state some twenty years ago it has been used regularly in vintage club events until recently. Starts easily and runs well, fitted with tank mounted oil pressure gauge and comes with tool kit which includes grease gun for valve rocker lubrication. fitted with recently replacement silencers.

+ We have a letter to a Mr Berry dated on 5 October 1993 From the Driver & Vehicle Licensing Northern Ireland Vehicle Licensing Division, Ref: JI 5045 the registration number, which reads, I can confirm that the vehicle is a BSA Motorcycle ( Chassis number Y 5783 ) the date of first registration was 24 March 1931. The last vehicle licence expired on 30 September 1954.

These prices include collection, packing, freight, fuel surcharges, documentation, handling and export clearances. The customer will then need to pay any import formalities and import clearances on arrival of the motorcycle at destination.
We can also put the customer in contact with an arrivals agent at destination to assist with arrival formalities and charges. They can also assist with forward delivery as required.
For shipments to Australia, Vehicle Import Approval (VIA) must be obtained prior to arrival in Australia. Applications usually take from 4-6 weeks to process and be returned. You can also apply for VIA online here.
The Australian Department of Infrastructure and Transport will require you to apply for the permit to import a vehicle. It normally takes between 15-20 days to process applications. The import procedure can be found here.
Optional Services:
Insurance may be organised to cover the motorcycle for loss or damage during ocean transit. This is based on 1. 5% of the bikes value + freight + 10%.
