Commer Avenger IV / Harrington Crusader XPM 365, new as a Harrington demonstrator in 1962. Magnificent camper conversion (not a car transporter as reported elsewhere) in metallic blue and silver. Interior needs a bit of updating but it has a pristine exterior and excellent running order with full history and bills to prove. It also features an early Telma breaking system. Only one owner in the last 44 years and stored under cover. Looking for £30, 000 for this rare opportunity to acquire a real classic.
The coach has been in our family since we were children and is only for sale due to the death of our father last year. The coach is in good running order to our knowledge and was MOT'd/ plated until the middle of last year. Note: this vehicle requires a Class 1 licence to drive it.
Whilst the interior will require an update for most peoples tastes it does have working, gas, electric and water facilities. It has been fastidiously maintained by my father for many years.
This vehicle is both a bargain and an investment being one of only two vehicles of this kind to be in existence. It could also be used by a business for festival rental (with qualified driver to take to sites) or be placed on a fixed site during summer months to hire.
