A vehicle worthy of the effort:
Technically speaking, this is a "red" bricklin but it's actually a deep and bright orange.. the orange bricklins are a peach colour and not vibrant.. this one is the most desirable of all colours and shows 13, 000 miles on the clock.
Car is in excellent condition, all original, so it's never been painted like many - and still retains all its pigmentation... very striking !
We added a $300. 00 steering wheel --- it looks, feels and matches beautifully-- the original steering wheel will go with the car but it's ugly in comparison to this one.
Every aspect of the car has been gone over, examined, evaluated and has passed our stringent requirements with flying colours..
Body:
When the car was bought in 1975, the dealer offered a special service to do "hand pinstriping" around the car. It's gold and looks very nice but can be removed easily if you really don't like it... but you'll love it, and the body is so shiny, it's surprising.. The black in the louvers is only vinyl and not paint, so it can be removed in 3 minutes.
Doors:
this is always a big concern with bricklins... the doors on this car work incredibly well and also "line up" properly with the body. They were converted to air and even have remotes.
The car runs very nice, shifts very smoothly, with a deep rumble from the 351w engine.
The only few things that were added is the remote door system, the 3 tiered center caps to the rims, a better valve and gauge system for the doors and nice greed led fog lamps. The car is very original...
Rubber is excellent with 90% tread.
