Design by Chris Humberstone (SAC Designs -- Rover P6 estate and many other bespoke variations) for H R Owen Ltd in 1973. Produced by Williams & Pritchard.
Tubular frame over XJ6 series 1 chassis with aluminium body.
All Leather, Draylon, and suede cabin interior fabrics replaced with original colours of the period.
Engine: XJ6 4. 2L twin SU HD8 carbs. producing 245 BHP.
Gearbox: Three speed Borg Warner BW8
Supension: Independent
Brakes: Discs all round (inboard rears)
Wheels: Original Wolfrace slot magnesium 15” alloys
History: An H R Owen project in 1972, first registered in 1973. Remained in their ownership until 1981 in its original white livery. Then sold, re-registered, and painted its previous gold. Then known as “Golden Girl” OR "Goldie" to the swinging Knightsbridge set. Design messages can be heard from Gerald Ronson’s Lamborghini Espada via seats, and C-Pillar step-louvres.

Restoration Notes:
New under shell -- front & rear cross members, inner and outer sills, boot and spare wheel panels
Full back to bare metal re-spray into its original H R Owen-prepared BMC Old English White now completed in UK restoration workshops.
Full renovation of cabin and seating with original ‘70s Draylon and leather all being replaced with new. Also all cloths being replaced with headlining of the period
Complete re-wire with new loom
Headlamp & Door window motors reconditioned
New petrol pump with petrol tank plasticised and pressure tested.
New Kevlar coolant hoses throughout
New brake pads and hydraulic lines as appropriate.
All brake calipers stripped and rebuilt
New windscreen surrounds
