Chassis number A2402091HSO - originally registered on November 26th 1954 in the Stockport area as HJA65. The vendor informs us this vehicle was subject to a bare metal respray in 2016 and all chrome work done in 2017. This is a very early example of Husky Mark 1, as the Husky range was initially launched during 1954, based on the contemporary "Mark VIII" Hillman Minx, but having a single side hinged rear door and using the older 1265cc Hillman side valve engine, unlike the contemporary Minx with its column change, the gear lever for the Husky was floor mounted. A rear folding bench seat was standard to increase the load area, and options at the time would have been a heater and a radio. At launch the basic car would have cost £564 including taxes.
