FUN 454D was purchased by the previous owner in 2010 from Valerie Gaskell a keen triumph enthusiast who attended many local rallies.
The TR was in a partial stripped state awaiting a full restoration when collected in October of 2010, they collected her and over the next 5 years undertook a full nut & bolt restoration.
Everything was removed and bagged, the body was separated from the chassis and all parts were stripped, repaired if possible, replaced by new where necessary and rebuilt with stainless bolts etc.
Many upgrades were introduced such as poly bushes, adjustable shocks, new rims and tyres as well as alloy fuel tank and kenlow fan.
The body was professionally rebuilt by a well-known TR restorer using lead rather than filler where required.
There is a full photographic record of the restoration with the car which shows the extensive nut & bolt process and a list of all the upgrades.
Over £38, 000 has been lavished on this stunning restoration with a complete photographic log of approximately 300 photos.
Fun 454D is a genuine UK RHD vehicle which is confirmed by the heritage certificate and is now better than when it left the factory.
It is an ideal investment for an enthusiast who would be in a great position to show and enter concourse competitions.
