1972 Triumph Spitfire MK1V With Overdrive Restored example and presents superbly , 4000 miles covered since competition . Beautiful Green coachwork with homage Le Mans white flash . No signs of rusting and super shiny paint finish . Inspection of the chassis finds it in excellent condition with no signs of poor repairs or damage . Very well anti corrosion treated and any inspection welcome . The interior has benefited from seat retrim in black and new carpets so the cabin is extremely smart . As we sit in and turn the key the 1296 cc four cylinder Triumph motor starts straight away . Pull away and the gear change is smooth and the overdrive instantly kicks in and out when operated . Fitted with K & N air filters , Alloy rocker cover , Stainless steel exhaust system and a Kenlow electrically operated cooling fan . The hood is excellent and the Spitfire stands very well on its alloy Minalite road wheels fitted with excellent tyres . MOT expires February 2019 . Recent service , New battery , Oil and filter change and a clutch slave cylinder fitted so very well maintained .
