Armstrong Siddeley, an important and innovative English engineering company whose products included aircraft, aircraft engines and motor cars. From small beginnings Armstrong Siddeley grew into a successful and wide-ranging group of companies, with a broad product range. Today the parts of that group survive in other organisations and under different names, while the name of the parent has been all but forgotten.
