Rover P4 Drivers' Guild

Paddock Bend, 60 Stratford Road, Cosgrove, Northants, MK19 7BD.

The Rover P4 Drivers' Guild was formed in 1977 to cater for owners of the Rover 60, 75, 80, 90, 95, 100, 105, and 110 range of cars manufactured between 1950 and 1964. The aim of the Guild is to help P4 owners to preserve their cars for regular use by assisting them to locate spares, literature, advice, competent mechanics and other services to keep their cars in a roadworthy condition.
The Guild magazine "Overdrive" is published every two months; it contains maintenance hints and tips, repair information, members' experiences, lists of events, local meetings and classified advertisements. A yearbook is published in the autumn and includes special features related to the Rover P4 and lists of companies whose services have proved satisfactory to members over the preceding year, the services being categorised from mechanical work to upholstery etc. Advertisements for spares may be found in both "Overdrive" and the Yearbook. Specialised tool hire is available to members who want to "do it themselves".

Several regional branches have evolved to hold regular monthly meetings, organise local rallies, and to provide self-help between members. A list of meetings and contacts can be found in "Overdrive". The Guild organises several rallies throughout the warmer months, often in conjunction with other Rover clubs.

Membership runs from January to January and renewal forms are issued with the November issue of "Overdrive". Members joining from 14 November pay the full annual subscription to the end of the following year. Members are able to benefit from an attractive Guild insurance deal with a major specialist insurance broker. Badges, key fobs and other regalia are listed in "Overdrive". Some back numbers of "Overdrive" are available.
