Westland Classic Motorcycle Club
We are a motorcycle club, based in Yeovil, Somerset, founded in 1980, originally for classic motorcycle owners. * Shortly after forming, the club opened its doors to all motorcycling enthusiasts with the aim of promoting motorcycling in the region. * The Coast to Coast (Lyme Regis to Weston – Super – Mare), The Spirit of the Sixties and the Sunflower Run are our major charitable rides each year which attract riders from all over the UK and Europe About the club * Since inauguration, we have raised over £100,000 for our supported charities * We hold monthly meetings at The Chilthorn Domer Recreation Center on the second Tuesday of each month, with guest speakers, quizzes, memorabilia auctions, games nights etc. * There is a monthly raffle for meeting attendees * We have organised ride-outs on most Sundays starting from Asda, Yeovil * New members are always welcome to come along to any of our activities * If you don’t own a classic bike, why not join us as a marshal to assist at our major events. Any roadworthy bike (and rider!!) most welcome. * There are also summer evening rides and Treasure Hunts.
