The Revival is the most important historical motoring event in period costume in the world. Every year, in September, in the famous former RAF base circuit, the hands of the clock are brought back to the fascination of post-war car racing, that is to the period in which the circuit was active: from 1945 to 1966. Three days of non-stop action in 12 car and motorcycle trophies, including the lovely Settrington Cup for kids, with pedal cars. The 1950s dress is a must and, for those arriving by train. the advice is to take the bus from Chichester station: it will be original of the period as well and for sure the best viaticum towards the immense British "funfair" of motors. An event that leaves a smile on your face for days.
