The BMW Z3 1.9 Roadster arrived in 1995 as Bond's wheels in GoldenEye, and this 1997 example wears the screen-accurate Atlanta Blue metallic over Sand Beige leather combination that appeared in the film: a specification with enduring appeal among 007 enthusiasts.
This car has covered 65,000 miles and comes with a history file containing invoices going back more than a decade. It has been garaged and kept covered throughout the current owner's tenure and reportedly remains entirely unmodified. Recent mechanical attention has been thorough, covering engine mounts, suspension components, brakes, and more, with a fresh oil service also carried out. Front tyre wear: again see attached. Unfortunately I don't have my tread depth gauge to hand but I'll try to dig it out and reply with measurements.
Offside Front Lower outer sill cover corroded: As previously mentioned this is a non-structural sill cover which I have attached a better photo of. These often get pulled on an MOT due to corrosion if the tester isn't aware that these are non-structural items. The actual structure is underneath this cosmetic sill and forms part of the main chassis on the Z3 which is, to my knowledge, structurally sound. Were I to hang on to this vehicle for a few more years it would be a bit of weekend work; unfortunately I have a need to change from a 2 to a 4-seater and so I have few weekends to dedicate to addressing!
Ultimately this car is not concours so there are a few bits here and there, but it certainly car-show ready and I have done my best to present it as that. Feel free to ask any further questions and I'll do my best to help, thanks
