“The question isn't why you would want the Spider version of the F430 but why you wouldn't.” Those are the words of Evo magazine back in 2005 when they road tested the newly-arrived F430 convertible.

This car’s understated Grigio Grey metallic makes a subtle alternative to the more common Rosso hues and suits the F430’s lines. Here it is mated to dark Daytona Red leather, which works well with the interior’s extensive carbon features.

Following up the long-lived Dino V8 was a tough challenge, but the F136 V8 fully delivered. Lopping off the roof enables drivers to experience its sonorous delights, surely one of the key reasons to want any Ferrari, but particularly a F430.
This car’s other stand-out feature is that very rare 6spd manual box. As well as providing extra driver engagement, it also avoids the complexity associated with the F1 Graziano unit.
