The Appeal
“The question isn't why you would want the Spider version of the F430 but why you wouldn't.” Those are the words of Evo magazine back in 2005 when they road tested the newly-arrived F430 convertible.
Thanks to clever engineering, the F430 Spider lost none of the Berlinetta’s agile brilliance, but added open-air motoring and the chance to experience that sonorous F136 V8 unfettered by metalwork. It was a success for Ferrari, yet only 128 UK RHD cars were supplied with the engaging 6-speed manual box rather than the Graziano transmission.
This car is one of them, finished in tasteful Grigio Grey with a complementary red leather cabin. It has covered just 40,000 miles, a figure backed by full service history from main dealers and well-regarded specialists. The last service was in December 2025. This car’s understated Grigio Grey metallic makes a subtle alternative to the more common Rosso hues and suits the F430’s lines. Here it is mated to dark Daytona Red leather, which works well with the interior’s extensive carbon features.

Following up the long-lived Dino V8 was a tough challenge, but the F136 V8 fully delivered. Lopping off the roof enables drivers to experience its sonorous delights, surely one of the key reasons to want any Ferrari, but particularly a F430.
