National group rally car.
Inspected (MOT/ TUV) June 2019.
Registration papers are showing it as a 2. 0l
This would be an ideal car for some track day fun and to take to some local stage events, or just to be used as a daily driver.
Bodywork:
The bodywork looks nice and original with good gaps, from what I can tell it isn’t full of filler either.
Engine bay is in great condition, looks to be original.
Boot area is also nice, battery is relocated there, and the fuel tank has been moved to a safer location.
Interior:
The interior has been totally removed and replaced with a roll cage, two bucket seats and 6-point harness safety belts.
The welds to some of the joints on the roll cage are not brilliant.
Underneath/ chassis:
Underneath is totally rust free and from what I can see hasn’t had any rust repairs in the past, great condition.
Floors and chassis rails all seem to be in original condition.
Modifications:
I have no documented proof as to any engine modifications, it doesn’t feel standard though.
Below is a short list of the visible modifications to the car.
· 2. 0 OHC with RS aluminum oil sump.
· Twin 40 dellorts.
· Adjustable cam pulley.
· Standard 5-speed gearbox.
· Volvo bid Atlas axle.
· 4-link.
· Bilstein shocks.
· Disc brakes all around.
· Compomotive wheels and new tires.
· Wilwood hydraulic hand brake.
· Urethane bushes.
