Absolute stunning early-production Mercedes-Benz 230SL Pagoda (W113) in great mechanical and cosmetic condition and with only 21748 indicated kilometers on the odometer. The car’s engine was upgraded under prior ownership to the larger Mercedes-Benz 250SL Pagoda 2. 5-liter inline-six-cylinder engine making 148 hp and significantly more torque than the original smaller 2. 3-liter engine. The engine upgrader was and remains a popular upgrader for the 230SL and makes the car more enjoyable to own. The car retains its original four-speed manual transmission.
The car is coming out of long-term Danish collector ownership (19 years) and has Danish papers and registration. Extensively documented restoration history, commissioned under long-term Danish ownership, is included in the sale.
