We are really pleased to offer for sale this stunning and incredibly well kept 1974 Rover 3500 finished in its factory rare colour of Almond Yellow.
Originally supplied to a Mr John Deighton by Lex Mead in Southampton.
Mr Deighton used it until he passed in 1990, Mr Deighton continued to use the car until late 2004, when it was then sold.
Two keepers have looked after her since then.
The car is presently showing 74, 140 miles, which is warranted.
The car has a stamped-up service history, mainly main dealer, in 2 British Leyland/ Austin Rover service books, up to 69, 869 miles.
The history file then contains a vast number of invoices for work done over the years
The car was last MOT’d in November 2020 at 73, 571 miles, she then became MOT exempt.
A quick search on the DVLA MOT history, the word “corrosion” never appears!
The car comes with a complete owners pack, including the original plastic folder, and there is a very comprehensive log book filled in with every journey, service, petrol used, oil used etc from 1984 to 1990. With a full compliment of Keys.
The interior is a wonderful place to be, original carpets, seats and interior trim.
The vinyl roof covering is near mint.
As a series 2 version she has Sundym glass, updated instrumentation and power steering.
This is not your usual rusty, tatty 3500, she is a very good original car which has been owned mainly by two husbands and wives, a rare car in this condition with this history.
