Lot 2
A 1969 registered Ford Capri Mk I 1600 L project, registration number VYD 764G, chassis number BBECJP25591, blue. This very early Mk I Capri is believed to have been manufactured in 1968 and registered on 14th July 1969 and was acquired by our vendor in 1998 as a project. The bodyshell is fitted with new front wings and inner panels, the sills and floor has been repaired as necessary and the hull is now a rolling shell. The engine and gearbox have been removed as has the interior and brightwork. We are advised that the car is complete in all major respects apart from the front seat which will require sourcing. This incredibly rare Capri is offered for sale with the last MOT which expired in September 1990 (recorded mileage 37, 000), a Kwik-Fit engine warranty and a tax disc from September 1990. This exciting project now requires full restoration to return to its former glory. V5, no MOT
