An unbelievable, 5k mile car from new in the hands of just one owner. This is a no excuse super rare roadster that is truly breathtaking in the flesh. An incredibly rare car with less than 2600 ever built in this configuration. This car was even optioned with the factory hard top which is still present.
Confirmed by Alfa Romeo historic, this car is a matching number car.
The bodywork is exceptional. All shut lines, panel gaps and paint finish is remarkably uniform. The glass quality and chromes are excellent and the car is such a joy to behold. The early bodykit gives the car excellent stance and really makes the car look fantastic in the flesh.
The interior is much of the same story. The original quadrifoglio leather is in excellent condition, as is the beautiful hand stitched dash. All controls and buttons work perfectly and the interior is in excellent condition. The factory red carpets with grey leather stitched in red looks pure class and was specific to this model. Recently we have refurbished the alloy wheels and fit a brand new mohair roof.
Mechanically the car is as good as you would imagine. The dcnf Webber’s are tuned beautifully and the car starts from hot and cold. Under acceleration the car performs really well and pulls very strongly. The 2. 0 litre engine is very gutsy. Combined with low weight and 140 bhp this car drives amazingly well.
In conclusion, this is a superb car with super low mileage that has been stored perfectly. By far, the best we have seen. This car represents fantastic value for a fully sorted car that needs nothing but a new owner. Collector quality at its finest.
