This marvellous little Beetle was built on 8th June 1973 and left the factory on 13th June on its way to its first home in Italy. It is in very good condition, having been restored and improved around 2010. The bodywork was restored and a new 1600 engine fitted - there is a good history file with the car detailing the work. Some tasteful modifications were carried out, including fitting the larger engine (originally a 1300), wide alloy wheels, high-backed seats and an up to date colour. The paintwork is good and the interior is excellent, as is the canvas dark blue hood. The underside of the car was repainted and is still clean and tidy. The tyres are in good condition and the engine has just been tuned. The car starts easily, drives well and is a lot of fun, particularly with the hood down, and with lots of room for four people. The file includes lots of old MOT certificates and V5C. A ver well priced car.
