We have in our showrooms a very early 1955 Morris Minor Pick Up. It has been fully restored by Minor Medics of Milton Keynes between 2001 and 2002, the bills and receipts are substantial to say the least. It has been an excellent job. It was restored under the registration number AJF405A and has now been reregistered OLR254. There is an excellent history file and ring binder with a photographic record of the restoration which effectively shows the car coming out of a Morris Minor collectors back yard to a very proud photo of a Beaumont Hall Nostalgia Car Show in 2016 taking pride of place and looking like new. We took the car in part exchange around 6 or 8 months ago and have displayed the car in our showrooms as a centrepiece and it has caused quite a lot of interest and jogged a lot of happy memories. There is a tailor made canopy and hoops with the car which was supplied in 2015 by Undercover Covers of Birmingham. The Morris looks fantastic with and without the cover. Various bits and pieces in terms of spares with the car, recent attention to the brakes and a new water pump, it drives and runs as well as 1955 Morris Pick Up does, starts off the button and turns heads wherever you go. Perfectly useable but maybe more suited for occasional use. We can send over a video of the car and there are sections of the binder that have some good information available relating to the restoration.
