Candy apple red beach buggy 1968, carbon dashboard, pearl coloured roll bar. Lovely condition and amazing fun to drive, amazingly will sit at 80mph on the motorway no problem at all. Detailed engine with chrome covers, sounds great.
The car features a newly rebuilt VW 1596 engine with chrome kit, chrome dual cannon exhausts, and rebuilt gearbox. It also benefits from new floor pans. The speedometer & dials are from a reclaimed Triumph Stag, which had 60, 204 miles showing upon installation, and now reads 60, 556. It has been rewired, has a new fuse box, a fabricated dash with the Stag dials with new warning bulbs, and a custom made 12 gallon fuel tank with sender. An all new brake system including front discs, reservoir, pipes & handbrake cables is also fitted.
The car features new Heritage modular chrome steel wheels, front 8″ X 15″ front, 10″ x 15″ rear, with R15 Goodridge BFG tyres, new shocks. a new Sony radio/ CD player with retractable aerial, all new lights (the exception is an original rear number plate light), Cobra racing seats in black with red piping, 4 point Rage seat belts, new twin air horns, new wipers & reservoir, stainless steel body bolts with new rubber body seal, a new racing steering wheel & boss, a new battery, tailor made black carpets with red trim, and chrome body trim.
