A Healey Frogeye which has been in the same family from when purchased ‘new’ in 1991 at The Frogeye Car Company, Ryde, Isle of Wight. These delightful rare machines were developed by Keith Brading the company’s founder utilising a galvanised chassis and GRP body to guarantee maximum resistance to corrosion, this coupled with updated rear suspension and modified 1275cc engine making for a power output approaching 70BHP and a lively performer indeed. This model was built on a 1959 original Austin Healey Sprite identity and has all relevant documentation from the Frogeye Car Company and supports the very low mileage of 37, 595. The Primrose Yellow coachwork is in good condition albeit not unblemished and has a nicely mellowed Black interior trim, All weather equipment is present and in good condition. The history file has a plethora of original documentation and some correspondence between its owner and the factory. A unique opportunity to acquire one of these rare examples manufactured with the approval of the Healey family.
